Kharma holds both a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Clinical Psychology, and continued into Interpersonal Neurobiology through the Mindsight Institute.
As the creator of an International Breathwork Foundation (IBF)-recognized breathwork modality, she has developed a somatic pathway for accessing expanded states of consciousness without the use of psychoactive substances. Her breathwork is used as a sober psychedelic modality, exploring the capacity of breath, physiology, attention, sound, and embodied awareness to create profound shifts in perception, emotional experience, consciousness, and self-understanding.
“What becomes possible when we learn to work with the body’s innate intelligence rather than treating the body as separate from the mind?”
Clinical & educational work
Bridging mental health and psychedelic education.
Kharma is an experienced psilocybin facilitator and educator. She has studied plant medicine with shamanic elders and Medicine men in the jungles of Mexico and Peru, grounding her ceremonial and educational work in direct, lineage-informed relationship to traditional practices.
She has worked with adults navigating substance use and co-occurring mental health concerns, and has supported individuals working with ketamine-assisted therapy — including preparation, integration, psychoeducation, and group facilitation.
She has also served as an educator for the Oregon Health Authority’s psilocybin services program, supporting education for practitioners pursuing Oregon psilocybin facilitator licensure.
The approach
Transformation moves through the body.
Through Embodied Alchemy Wellness, Kharma brings these disciplines together with energy work, sound and vibration, ceremony, somatic experience, breathwork, and intentional consciousness practices. Her approach recognizes that transformation can occur not only through cognitive understanding, but through direct experiences within the body, nervous system, energetic field, and relational environment.
She is particularly interested in the ways humans can intentionally access altered and expanded states of consciousness — whether through breath, psychedelics, ceremony, or other embodied practices — and translate those experiences into meaningful integration and lasting change.
Scope & responsibility
Wellness practice held with clear boundaries.
Embodied Alchemy offerings and facilitator training support wellness and personal development.
They do not qualify anyone to provide clinical treatment, diagnose, or treat mental health conditions. Facilitators must work within their scope, ethical boundaries, and local laws and regulations.
